Online lecture series : Excellent and still invisible?! - Ways to increase visibility of women in science and innovation

How visible are female innovators? What reasons make them often less visible than their male colleagues? And above all: how can this be changed?

These are the questions addressed by projects in the "Innovative Women in Focus" funding guideline. In the lecture series "IFiF-Impulse", initial results will be presented and placed within the state of current research. The lectures will take place in the winter semester 2023/2024 on one Tuesday per month from 18:00 (s.t.) to 19:30 via WebEx.

Participation is open to all interested individuals. In particular, the presentations are aimed at scientists and students, people from science management, university communication, from the field of gender and equality, as well as people from corporate communication, human resources and diversity management and the innovation sector in companies.

The program with a short abstract and the registration form can be found online (available in German only): https://www.innovative-frauen-im-fokus.de/ifif-impulse/

The IFiF team cordially invites you to attend the presentations!

Keep Calm and Hire a Babysitter - TUM4Kids platform goes online

From now on, employees and students of our university can be activated for the TUM4Kids platform and search for babysitting / tutoring.

The goal: students who want to offer a babysitting and/or tutoring service can meet interested TUM parents and can make agreements on their own responsibility. In this way, TUM members receive flexible support services and students can earn some extra money alongside their studies. The initiative serves to improve the compatibility of work or study and family and has received great support from all sides within TUM.

All information about the TUM4Kids project can be found here.
