Programme

The KeCK Mentoring & Training Programme covers aperiod of 18 months. In addition to mentoring, all participants also receive professional coaching and training (see below). Moderated networking meetings comprehensively supplement the programme.

It comprises the following components for approximately 15 participants:

  • Official program (kick-off, introductory, mid-term review, closing event)
  • At least 3 one-to-one mentoring contacts
  • 5 workshops on the following topics: Definition of position and objectives, career planning, career development through research promotion, interviewing and leadership skills
  • Optional: 4 individual coaching sessions
  • Optional: 10 days of soft-skill training to choose from
  • Supervision for mentors if required
  • Accompanying evaluation
  • Mentoring certificate

About the costs of the programme: The Klinikum and the Medical Faculty allow you to participate free of charge to a great extent. Costs are only incurred for travel, accommodations, and meals at the two external workshops. As a rule, you have the possibility to settle these costs via your institute as a training trip.
