Childcare

Here you will find current offers for staff/students of the Klinikum rechts der Isar and the Faculty of Medicine. Students and staff of the Faculty of Medicine also have access to numerous other support options at TUM. These are listed at TUM Family Service.

 

KeCK family room

In the KeCK family room (a 10-minute walk from the main building), staff/students of the Klinikum rechts der Isar and the Faculty of Medicine have the opportunity to have their children cared for by our experienced childcare staff. The childcare in the family room is primarily intended as a flexible short-term care offer and as a supplement to regular childcare. Information and registration for the family room by phone Mon-Fri from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or via email to familienservcie.keck.med@tum.de.

The room is located at Ismaninger Str. 69 on the 2nd floor (tram stop Holbeinstr.).

Day nursery and kindergarten

At the Klinikum rechts der Isar, there is currently a day nursery with 47 places and a kindergarten with 21 places available, Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Numerous other childcare options at TUM for students and employees of the Faculty of Medicine are listed at TUM Family Servcie.
 

Holiday childcare

Every staff member at the Klinikum rechts der Isar and the Faculty of Medicinehas the opportunity to register Faculty children for holiday care (Easter and Summer holidays) for a small fee. For more information, please contact the Human Resources Department via Ms Druckenmüller (tanja.druckenmueller@mri.tum.de). Please register your children in good time as the number of places is limited.

The Chair of Sport and Health Management at the Department of Sport and Health Management also regularly organises kids' camps in cooperation with TUM.Family. You can find current news and events at the KidsTUMove website.
